Could there be a better way to spend a Sunday evening then to head to Tanks Arts Centre to see California guitar playin singer songwritin Donovan Frankenreiter.

To start the night off Hendrix Frankenreiter a wonderful musician in his own write and a fantastic guitar player filled the role of support act which was recived enthusiastically by the crowd.

 

Hendrix even got his dad up for a song during the support set.

Starting his set early was great for some people including this writer meaning we could enjoy the muisc and the night and still function on a Monday at work.

With that voice which is uniquely his own, Donovan led the crowd through the past twenty years of his music and though it was an intimate crowd the voice on them was something else when the sing a longs began...very vocal and enthusiastic.

 

After the show Donovan came out for a bit of a chit chat with the folks that had hung around.
